DJI Goggles 2

The DJI Goggles 2 First launched with the DJI Avata drone and then later DJI O3 Air unit.

Since launch DJI has added more compatibility for older Airunit such as the DJI Air Unit,Caddx Vista and Runcam Link as well as other Drones such as the Mini 3 Pro and the DJI FPV Drone.

Compatibility

The Goggles 2 and Goggles Integra are compatible with the following FPV Airunits

DJI O3 Air Unit ( O3 Mode)

DJI Digital FPV Air Unit/Caddx Vista/Runcam Link (DIY FPV Mode)*

*Special Attention to firmware must be made with the original DJI Air units on the Goggles 2 and Integra, these Airunit will only work with Goggle 2/Integra on FW v01.01.00.00

To use DJI Digital FPV Air Unit/Caddx Vista/Runcam Link on DJI FPV Goggles V1 or V2 these airunits must be on firmware v01.00.06.08 or earlier.

You can not use these airunits with Goggles 2 and V2 goggles with out changing the FW

O3 is not affected.

FCC Hack

Yes HAM File Hack provides FCC RF Output,

Performing the FCC unlock on the O3 Air Unit is identical to the DJI AVATA FCC hack create an empty plain text in something like Notpad++ file with the name ‘ham_cfg_support’, save it with no file extension.

Place this file on the root of an micro SD card and put into the DJI Goggles being used and power the system up.

A correctly FCC Hacks O3 will have the following manual channels available

3 Channels Available in 40Mhz Mode

7 Channels Available in 10/20Mhz Mode

Mads Ramblings

Like the O3 Air Unit the Goggles 2 pairs the P1 chipset alongside the E3T for the increased video processing performance. Some nice features on the Goggles2 and Integra is that you can record DVR with or with out OSD. However for me fitment is terrible with lots of Vetting and blurring on the optics.
